January transfer window is usually not the best time for some top clubs in Europe to secure players, but for some reason, the coming one may be something of an exception looking at how well their teams have fared since the summer window.

The summer transfer window did provide us with some surprise moves like Ronaldo uniting with his old club Manchester United, Messi and Sergio Ramos moving to Paris Saint Germain.

Considering how poor the season is going for some clubs, it’s quite evident that securing good legs in order to start grinding out good results.

In a period where a whole lot of players’ contracts are set to expire and with some club-ready to let go of some high-earning players in their team, then the forthcoming January transfer window would serve as a perfect time for some team to beef up their squad.

Dusan Vlahovic is no doubt in the form of his life this season and he’s obviously the hottest striker in Serie A now, having scored 12 goals for the Florence-based club this season.

In recent times due to the brilliant form Serbia international his in, top clubs across Europe have been lurking around to snap him up from Fiorentina. With his release clause believed to be around £55m, the forward is a perfect striker that could lead the line for many top teams in Europe and would deliver having shown what he could do in Seria A.

Interestingly Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester United, and Newcastle are apparently interested in the 21-year-old, with Spurs reportedly making him their top January target as a long-term replacement for Harry Kane who could leave in the summer.

  • Marcelo Brozovic – Inter Milan

Brozovic is an experienced player that his club could lose on a free in the summer once his current expires. He’s one brilliant player top club would want to snap up to strengthen their midfield especially for a player who has a pass rate of 92.3% success.

The 29-year-old has started all 14 of Inter Milan’s league games this season and he’s always delivered commendable performances for the Simeone Inzaghi-led team.

The Croatian is linked with a move to North London outfit Tottenham Hotspurs. With Conte’s arrival at Spurs, the Italian could fancy working with one of his former players once the January transfer window opens

  • Niklas Sule – Bayern Munich

Sule is not a guaranteed starter for Die Roten under Julian Nagelsmann who only fancy the partnership of Upamecano and Hernandez, plus the fact that the German defender contract is winding up to expiration, it’s an opportunity for teams to snap him up.

The German center-back obviously has admirers across Europe, notably Chelsea. Should Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger fail to extend their contract with the Blues, Sule is the perfect man to bring in.

  • Corentin Tolisso – Bayern Munich

Newcastle United obviously needs a lot of new injections into their squad to turn things around for the Tyneside club, and for a player of Tolisso status he’s undoubtedly a brilliant option for Eddie Howe’s led team.

While the Frenchman contract expires in the summer, injuries haven’t been nice to him and that has hindered his progress in nailing down a regular starting spot in Julian Nagelsmann’s team.

  • Franck Kessie – AC Milan

Kessie has over the past two seasons shown he’s a top-level player that could fit perfectly into any top side starting eleven, having contributed positively to everything the Rossoneri achieved last season.

The Ivorian contract is due to expire in the summer, however, it’s left to be seen if Milan will let him leave in January with clubs like Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester United, and West Ham United reportedly in talks with Milan.

  • Yves Bissouma – Brighton

Bissouma is no doubt one of the English Premier League’s best defensive midfielders, the Malian is heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer but Graham Potter stood firm on him.

The Malian has played a key role in Seagull’s good start to the season. However, his off-pitch issues could make any imminent switch elsewhere more difficult.

With what Bissouma has shown in Brighton’s midfield this season, it’s crystal clear that he’s got the ability and charisma to play for a bigger team than Brighton.

  • Isco Alarcon – Real Madrid

Isco has seen his career dwindle significantly in the last few years at the Santiago Bernabeu, having fail to nail down a starting role in Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

The 29-year-old was once regarded as one of the most promising midfielders of his generation, however, things have gone bad for the Spaniard in recent time while he often sits on Real Madrid’s bench.

With his contract is running out, Isco’s time at the Bernabeu is gradually coming to an end and as such Arsenal are reportedly keen to bring him to the Emirate Stadium in January.
