Nigeria international Semi Ajayi is reportedly not interesting in leaving EFL Championship side Rotherham United in the going ongoing January transfer window.
The lanky defender is not thinking of leaving the New York Stadium anytime soon and stressed that his priority, for now, is to help the club escape relegation.
With 18 months left on his contract with The Millers, speculation is on already that may not sign an extension and opt to move on, but Ajayi insists he is not thinking of leaving in a hurry.
Ajayi, who once captained Arsenal under-23 team and had a loan spell at Cardiff City, stressed that he owes a lot in his career to The Millers, for which he wants to play more years to come.
”I definitely see Rotherham as my long-term home. This is the club that gave me my opportunity two years ago.
“They showed even more faith in me by offering me a permanent deal after my loan spell from Cardiff City.
”We got promotion from League One and now I’m playing again in the Championship which has led to an international call-up. I owe a lot to Rotherham and I’m happy to be here.”
