Flying Eagles Coach Expects Tough Clash Against Morocco 1

Flying Eagles coach Paul Aigbogun says he expects a difficult game against 2019 All African Games hosts Morocco in a final Group A fixture on Friday in Rabat.

Burkina Faso top the group on four points with goal difference ahead of  Nigeria, who also have four points.

The host have a three points after they walked over late comers South Africa, who are bottom of the group.

We will remain focused, we were glad that we won, getting the maximum points, but we will not be carried away by the result and will remain focused ahead of the last group match against the host nation.

No team has qualified from this group and it is still open to everyone so, we need to give it our best in the last group match if we want to progress in the tournament.” 

The coach also promised improvements as the team advance in the tournament.

“I believe as the tournament progresses, we will keep improving as a team,” said Aigbogun

A win or draw will be enough to qualify the Flying Eagles to the semi-final,The encounter takes place on Friday at Stade Moulay Hassan, Rabat.
