Heracles Almelo striker and Belgium-born Nigerian forward Cyriel Dessers have been rated as the Best Player in Dutch Eredivise over the past week after a staggering goalscoring feat for the highflying Heraclieden side.

Cyriel Dessers has been named Whoscored.com’s Player of the Week in the Dutch League after he notched in five solid goals of the six goals in Heracles 6-1 whipping of VVV Venlo at Stadion ErveAsito (Almelo) on Saturday.

The Leuven-born player, who has a keen interest to represent the Super Eagles scored an ideal 10/10 rating for a superb hat trick and making two assists in Heracles matchday 13 fixture.

The 24-year-old slot home a 26-minute hat trick in the second half of the game and makes two assists scored by Alexander Merkel and Mauro Júnior.

The 185cm tall forward, who is still anticipating his first invite to the Super Eagles, has played every Heracles game this campaign and has accounted a portion of the 70 percent of the goals scored by the Heraclieden side.

In the current season, Cyriel Dessers has scored 17 goals, 6 assists and having shots an average of 1.31 goals per game in club competitions. Last season his average was 0.27 goals per game, he scored 7 goals in 26 club matches.
