ATK Secure The Service Of Kalu Uche From Delhi Dynamos In Mega-Deal 1

India Super League side ATK have secure the signing of Nigerian forward Kalu Uche on a lucrative one-year-deal, which will see him wind up as one of the highest players in the League.

The Aba-born striker had signed for the Delhi Dynamos in 2017 for a $129,999 expense fee and his stellar run of form in the just concluded 2017/18 season has impacted a higher pay for his services.

Two-time Indian Super League (ISL) champions ATK have offered Enyimba and Iwuanyanwu Nationale man a huge pay rise with a whopping deal worth around $300,000.

ATK principal owner Sanjiv Goenka said :

“We are glad to have Uche on board. He is a player who brings both experience and performance to the ATK squad. We wish him all the very best.

Uche, who is one of the ISL’s most lethal strikers enjoyed the just concluded season scoring 13 goals in 15 games, but unfortunately for the Nigerian international, Delhi Dynamos did not have the best of seasons as they ended up eight on the League table.

Having played for Spanish outfit Espanyol early in his career, Uche represented the Periquitos for the entire of the 2012 season, where he scored six goals in 15 matches. ATK player-manager Robbie Keane will be hoping Uche joins him and Njazi Kuqi to restore the fortunes of the club.

ATK finished ninth on the table with only four wins and the same number of draws from 18 matches will hope that the former Super Eagles player addition will resuscitate their chance in the upcoming season.

The former Almeria player has loads of experience added to his repertoire with 35 international caps since his debut in 2003, aside from long spells at Almeria (2005-2011) and Polish football club Wisla Krakow.

Kalu Uche who represented Nigeria in 2010 World Cup express his excitement to join ATK:
