With five games played in all competition for Arsenal after the appointment of Arteta, the results of those matches have shown that the Arsenal team needs overhauling of some players.
Although Arteta seems to have shown some signs of making Arsenal become better in years to come but going by what we’ve seen so far, Arteta would definitely need to do away with some players if he wants success for himself as a manager.
In this feature article, we consider some players who the youngest manager in the Premier League as of now should consider selling to other clubs and look forward to seeing his team blossom after their probable exit.
Shkodran Mustafi
This is a player that almost every Arsenal faithful wants out of the club in earnest due to his consistent error in every game.
Since his arrival from Valencia in 2016, Mustafi has been more of a problem for Arsenal than a solution and despite having many game times, he has failed to improve and become a better player for the club.
With just 12 matches played for the North London side this season, the German defender has helped Arsenal in keeping just three clean sheets in all competition. Albeit, Mustafi cannot be categorically named as the culprit for the team’s back pain this season and at the same time cannot be exonerated completely.
His recent error came against Chelsea at the Emirates, the 27-year-old practically gave away the winning goal to Tammy Abraham with a childish way of defending, making Arsenal and Arteta suffer defeat in the hands of their rivals.
Reiss Nelson
This young lad obviously has the potential of becoming a great player in years to come but needs to go through tutelage at this very tender age of his. The young English playmaker has recorded some impressive numbers at just 20 years. (23 goals in 65 appearances)

So far this season, Nelon has scored just three times for the Gunner’s in all competition. The need for this young chap to move out of the Emirate for a couple of years is pertinent as the team’s problem at the moment is way too tedious for the young English players to bear. For the good of Nelson, a loan away from Arsenal, for now, is the best.
Granit Xhaka
Granit Xhaka’s problem at Arsenal is not under-performance, but the love the Gunner’s supporters have for him has been divided into many parts thus making some sections of the fans clamor for his exit.
Under Unai Emery, the 27-year-old was voted to be the club’s captain by ‘some players’ at the club. The aftermath of the vote didn’t go well with some set of Arsenal fans as he was threatened on social media.

The shenanigan that happened during Arsenals 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at the Emirates last November proved as a negative turnaround between Xhaka and the fans. After being stripped of the captain band just two days after the incident at the Emirates, The Swiss took time to apologize to the club and fans for his unacceptable behavior.
Since then, Xhaka has day by day appeared like a player who’s heart is no longer with the club. Lately, reports came out that he might be on his way out of Arsenal to Wolfsburg in Germany but the midfielder made a U-turn on his decision to leave the club.
Perhaps the U-turn might just be a rouse for the club and its fans as Xhaka himself has the final say over his transfer. Before whatever plan he has put Arsenal in a precarious situation, Arteta should wisely just let the former captain leave the team.
