The management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, has given the team’s manager Henry Makinwa, a 3-game ultimatum to win or face the exit door.
This was contained in a statement issued in Ilorin on Sunday and signed by the team’s Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka.
The announcement said the management took the decision after a meeting to review the 2-4 loss to Sunshine Stars on Sunday in Ilorin, adding it won’t acknowledge poor performances from the technical team any longer.
It would be recalled that the Saraki Boys have not won in the last four games including a 0-2 loss to 3SC in Ibadan a 1-1 draw with Kano Pillars in Ilorin, another 1-2 loss to MFM FC in Lagos and the 2-4 to Sunshine Stars.
The statement said the ebb and the current position of the team on the log is troubling and the technical team must begin its restoration from the Rivers United game on Sunday in Ilorin.
The team management has scheduled a meeting with the players, supporters club and the technical crew for Monday to talk about the path forward for the Ilorin based club.
