UEFA Unveil 40-man Shortlists For 2016 Team Of The Year

UEFA has revealed their 40-man shortlist for 2016 Team of the Year ,which the best ELEVEN fate will be decided by football loving fans from all over the world.

Real Madrid and Barcelona superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are  considered to be the top shot.

The list includes 4 goalkeepers, 12 defenders,12 midfielders and another 12 strikers.
Fortunately Premier League did provide quite a number of 12 players which include: Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal), Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal), N’Golo Kante (Chelsea), Paul Pogba (Man United), Riyad Mahrez (Leicester), Kevin De Bruyne (Man City), Dimitri Payet (West Ham), Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal), Sergio Aguero (Man City), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Man United), and the most surprising inclusion of Joe Allen(Stoke City).

While La Liga leads the pack with several nominees.

Goalkeepers: Rui Patricio (Sporting), Keylor Navas (Real Madrid), Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid), Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus).

Defenders: Gerard Pique (Barcelona), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich), Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Raphael Guerreiro (Borussia Dortmund), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal), Diego Godin (Atletico Madrid), Pepe (Real Madrid), Juanfran (Atletico Madrid), Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid), Jerome Boateng (Bayern Munich).
