Victor Moses has been a close steady player in Antonio Conte’s table-topping Chelsea team this season, however, that was not the situation in the last three seasons under former manager Jose Mourinho.
Moses was constantly and extremely proficient in past pre-seasons yet Jose Mourinho dependably had better players to field than relying on him. The 26-year-old was spending his third season out on loan since joining the Stamford Bride outfit from Wigan, taking after several loan spells at Liverpool, West Ham and Stoke City.
In any case, everything appeared to change when Antonio Conte 3-4-3 formation sees the former Italian manager switched Victor Moses to the conservative right back wing, where Moses has been a revelation this season.
Moses in an interview with Sky Sports said, he never doubted his quality during his trying times but with that behind him now, he will continue to work hard to build on the progress he has made individually and as a team with Chelsea.
The 26-year-old stated “I’ve never doubted the ability that I’ve got. Chelsea is one of the best clubs in the world and I’ve always believed I have the ability to get into the team.
“I’ve proved that this season. I just kept working hard and kept believing in myself. I’ve moved on from the difficult times now. This is a season I am never going to forget.”
Moses has made 30 appearances in the Premier League this season and he is already looking to the next challenge which is against Everton.
“It’s going to be a different ball game this time,” he says. “They have the home advantage and they are going to want to get revenge. It’s not going to be easy, but we’ve got quality collectively and individually and we believe in ourselves.”
