Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has been a subject of interest from La Liga side Sevilla, and they are prepared to back up their interest with an official bid.
The former Europa League winners are prepared to make a bid of €6million (N2.1billion) for Onazi, Sevilla have as of late sold their skipper and midfielder Vicente Iborra to Leicester City, and are watchful for a substitute and are looking towards the direction of Nigerian international who they believe can fill the void left by Iborra.
Just as of late, it was reported that Onazi rescinded his contract with his Turkish club, Trabzonspor, but later reports proposed he was renegotiating with the Super Lig club.
“Sevilla reached out to Eddy’s (Onazi) agent for a conceivable transfer this summer. They will soon table an official bid of around six million Euros,” ScoreNigeria cited a source.
Onazi is currently in pre-season camp in with Trabzonspor after he settled a pay row that practically made him leave the Turkish club.
