Real Madrid Stretched Their Unbeaten Run To 40 Games



Real Madrid record 40 games unbeaten, setting a new Spanish record as Benzema’s goal salvaged a 3-3 draw against Sevilla in the Copa Del Rey second leg at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.


Madrid surpassed the previous record set by arch-rivals Barcelona as the Spanish giant progress to the quarter-finals of Copa del Rey on a 6-3 aggregate.

Just seconds away from full time and seeing Madrid lose to Sevilla, Karim Benzema struck a shot past Sevilla goalkeeper David Soria in the 93rd minute, as Madrid proceed further to the quarter-finals stage of the competition with a 6-3 aggregate.
