Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain annouced a new partnership with Nike subsidiary Jordan for their third kit, and have sold out few hours after it was released
Les Parisiens launched a land-markdeal with the company, which is generally involved with the manafacture of basktball-related apparel and shoes after Michael Jordan.
The kit come in highly contrasting black with a white strip down the centre, which may even emerge in a football world loaded with peculiar neon touches. Jordan will also provide cleats, as well as doing Nike’s most astounding performing boots up in PSG – conventional colorways.
Meanwhile, the sweetest of the action may occur off the field, with Jordan and Ligue 1 champions also collaborating for a clothing collection of hoodies, sweats, and the likes, but in addition with jersey that blends up with the brands’ most iconic logos.
PSG crest will be joined on the kit with the Jordan “Jumpman” logo, the iconic brand of the NBA legend replacing the Nike swoosh.
Announcing the partnership in the French capital on Thursday, which included Kylian Mbappe and Dani Alves unveiling their new kit for Champions League.
PSG forward Neymar added:
“For me the Jordan Brand means phenomenal, magic, irreverent. It is perfect for Paris and for the Champions League.
“Two partners that are champions, both Paris and Jordan, so I really hope this connection brings us many titles.”
However the club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi revealed that he he hoped that the partnership would build the club’s incomes, and it appears as though it is now working.
“It is amazing, it will help. That is why I tell everybody, don’t worry, because our revenue will increase,” Al-Khelaifi told ‘AFP‘.
“We have a lot of things to do of course, but the global brand today of Paris Saint-Germain, with Jordan, can add a lot of revenue, soon and in the season.”
The club’s official shop showed that they had sold out of the kit, with the message “Sorry, we are out of stock for today”
