Petr Cech Slams Bayer Leverkusen Over Discourteous Twitter Jibe

Published

Arsenal shot-stopper Petr Cech nearly miscued the first-time pass straight into his own net on Sunday evening at the Emirates as he attempts to give Shkodran Mustafi the ball.

The former Chelsea man has hit back at a “Discourteous” Tweet from German club Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayer Leverkusen takes a jibe at Arsenal after Petr Cech nearly scored a humiliating own goal amid Sunday’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City in front of the home fans.

The Bundesliga club considered this to be the ideal chance to remind the North London club on Twitter that they have their former shot-stopper Bernd Leno on the bench.

Meanwhile, Cech didn’t take the insult exceptionally well, as many believed the tweet to be an awful taste.

Instantly after Cech’s Tweet, the German club answered by claiming it was “just a touch of banter” before adulating him for his one-on-one wonderful save against Sergio Aguero in the second half.

Emery has urged Bernd Leno to remain persistent and patience, as Cech seems, by all accounts, to be his favored number one right now.
