Olanrewaju Kayode Replaces Oshimen In Eagles Squad



Austria Wien’s forward, Olanrewaju Kayode has been handed his debut call into the Super Eagles team to face Senegal and Burkina Faso in the upcoming friendly matches later in this month.

The former Golden eaglets and flying eagles forward were called up by the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr after Wolfsburg youngster, Victor Oshimen underwent a surgery to solve his niggling injury issue which has stopped him from making his Bundesliga debut.
The 23 years old has scored 15 goals and 6 assist in all competitions for Austrian Wien season.

Kayode reacting after the call up said he was delighted to have finally earned his call up, thanking the super eagle’s handlers for believing in him and promised to give his best in the green white green.

The friendly matches will involve the super eagles facing the Terranga lions of Senegal on march 24 and Burkina Faso four days later at The Hive, which is the home ground of Barnet Fc.
