Confederation of African Football (CAF) have appointed Quadri Adebimpe and Abdullahi Shuaibu to officiate in the first round, second leg matches of continental club competitions.
According to Complete Sports, Quadri Adebimpe and Abdullahi Shuaibu will represent Nigeria in CAF continental club competitions.
Quadri, who is Nigerian Professional Football League referee will be the first young FIFA-badged referee from Nigeria to officiate in an international competition, Quadri will oversee the CAF Champions League second leg tie game between AS FAN of Niger Republic and AS de Tanda of Ivory Coast in Niamey on Saturday, February 18.
Abdullahi Shuaibu will also oversee a second leg tie between Racing de Micomiseng of Equatorial Guinea and Etoile du Congo in Malabo on Sunday, February 19 at the Estadio De Nkoatoma in Bata, Equatorial Guinea.
