Nigeria are now strong favorites to qualify for the world cup after securing a comfortable win over Algeria in Uyo. Both Chelsea star John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses were on score-sheet as they help moved the Super Eagle into full control of the group with a 3-1 victory.

Moses came into the game with full tenacity driving past defenders and make a cute cut inside Algeria box ,but his play was a little bit out of luck.

The Super Eagle didn’t give room for the Fennecs to do any silly business and they get glued and misplaced by the Eagles midfield

Moses opened the scoring for Super Eagle at the Akwa Ibom Stadium, latching in the ball into the net just after 25th minute.

Chelsea teammate John mikel doubled the lead three minutes before the end of the first half, after a through-ball pass to him and he took no time to fire the ball in from a close range, little commotion as the Algeria defence were appealing for an offside.Fortunately the goal stood and it 2-0.

While in the 67th minute Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb long range shot brought back Algeria into the game.

A second goal for the Algerian would have left a sour pain in the heart of millions of football loving fans who troop out to support the Eagle in Uyo. Because a draw will be a nightmare for all Nigerians.
