As intense transfer speculation keeps on surrounding his club future, Alvaro Morata has put footballing matters to a halt for the weekend subsequent to getting married to his fiancee Alice Campello in Venice.
The Real Madrid forward has been linked with both Manchester United and AC Milan subsequent to starting only 14 LaLiga games last season, with his agent affirming contact with both clubs.
However, any move far from Santiago Bernabeu, where he came back from Juventus a year ago, was briefly set aside for later as Morata got married in Venice, almost Four hundred people were invited to the wedding ceremony – but Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t make it due to his involvement in the Confederations Cup with Portugal.
Morata and his fiancee, Alice Campello, imparted marital vows to each other at the Basilica del Redentore in Venice before boarding a boat to take in the city’s acclaimed waterways.
The couple ceased for photos in front of family and friends before cruising off into the sunset.
