Arsenal has been told by French champions AS Monaco that Thomas Lemar is not available for sale after a £30.7 million offer was straightly rejected.
Arsene Wenger is enthusiastic about signing the Monaco star Thomas Lemar, butt his odds of taking care of business have been genuinely gouged after the French club dismisses the Gunners’ £30.7 million offered for the winger.
Lemar, who is also a Spurs target, Arsenal were the first to make a move for the 21-year-old and, despite the player’s craving to work close by Wenger, Monaco’s VP Vadim Vasilyev is not prepared to let the winger move away from the French club.
Lemar has three more years on his contract after he was signed from Caen in 2015, and the French champions will attempt to keep away from more stars leaving the club after Bernardo Silva left for City in a deal that could be worth up to £60 million.
