After losing their matchday 35 fixture 0-2 to Shooting stars in Ibadan on Sunday, Nasarawa United coach Kabiru Dogo has said his team had accepted their fate even before kickoff.
The first half of the game ended goallessly, Nasarawa United conceded two goals in five minutes through Sunday Faleye and Adebayo Abayomi.
Dogo who watched on as his team fell to the Ibadan based club hinted there was a feeling of match-fixing about the match played at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
“We did not lose concentration, we were calm and we have accepted our fate,” said Dogo. “This is because the result has been known from the beginning of the game.
“You know, when you prepare for a war and the result has been determined, you have to turn it into a training so you can prepare for your next home match,’’ Dogo told journalist after the game.
Nasarawa United is placed 8th on the table with 50 points.
