“It’s High Time LMC Act On This” – Gombe United Players Cry Out Over Unfair Treatment

Gombe United players are in complete dismal after the Chairman of the club Alhaji Ahmad Saad forced them to leave for Ilorin instantly after playing their matchday 15 game against MFM FC on Sunday.

Gombe United defeat MFM 1-0 on Sunday, as Sadiq Shuaibu’s lone goal proved the difference.

A portion of the players denied on the grounds of security and robbery assault but despite their plea, the General Manager forced the team to clear out.

One of the players who wants to be anonymous revealed that: “The same treatment took the life of Kalu, the former player of the Savannah Scorpions.

“It’s high time LMC looked into this kind of situation. There should be a rule on this.”

Commending the Gombe State government for supporting the team enough in this harsh period of the nation and urged the managements of the team to do well to compliment the endeavours of the Government.

The Savannah scorpions are planned to play ABS Ilorin FC in a Midweek of the NPFL Matchday 16 game on 29th of March.
