San Siro outfit Inter Milan have received huge boost ahead of their crucial top-of- the table clash with title hopefuls AS Roma at home on Sunday night in what would be a week 26 Italian Serie
A fixture after star players Jeison Murillo, Marcelo Brozovic and Geoffrey Kondogbia all returned to training from various injury problems.
Colombian defender Murillo has recovered from the muscle strain he picked up during the last league game at Bologna and is now expected to feature at centre-back with usual partner Miranda already suspended for the Roma game while Croatian midfielder Brozovic has also recovered from the fractured toe he suffered during the Italian Derby (Juventus-Inter Milan match) some few weeks back and is in contention for the aforementioned league game though he could start on the bench with Roberto Gagliardini-Geoffrey Kondogbia partnership likely to be preferred in midfield.
French midfielder Kondogbia has completely recovered ahead of the game after he was earlier diagnosed with the flu.
Inter Milan (in 4th place with 48 points) would be hoping they can close the gap on the top three including AS Roma in the race for the league title and UEFA Champions League (UCL) qualification for next season. The top three teams namely Juventus, AS Roma and SS Napoli have 63 points, 56 points and 54 points respectively.
