Ifeanyi Ubah Bounces Back,Plateau United Thrash Enyimba



Nigeria Football League put the show of shame of the opening day league fracas behind, while Fc Ifeanyi Ubah also forgets their worries thrashing MFM FC 4-0 as The People’s Elephants got beaten 3-1 as they visit Plateau United at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos.

Anambra Warriors was sanctioned over their awful act of abandoning the opening game of the season put behind their troubles and take that as an inspiration to maul MFM FC, who also won big over the weekend at home against Niger Tornadoes.

The goals came in from Yaya Kone, Jimoh, King Osanga and were later crowned by Ifeanyi Onuigbo to give FC Ubah their first league win of the 2016/2017 season.
Meanwhile, Plateau United took advantage of being at home to raced a 3-0 lead against former seven-time Champions Enyimba, before Ikechukwu Ibenegbu scored to find consolation for ‘The People’s Elephant

League debutant was unlucky to pick a point in Gombe,as Fabason Djoufouna 87th minute goal helped secure three maximum points for Gombe United.
Katsina was first on target after Captain Victor Mbaoma scored a wonderful freekick in the 20th minute and Remo goaltender Ndukwe made consecutive saves denying the host an early equaliser.

The game was 3 minute into stoppage time Fabason Djoufouna was right on time to strike in the ball from a low cross from Issac Giwa to secure 3 points for the Desert Scorpions.
