FIFA has given Seria A side Lazio the last ultimatum until December 9 to pay up Ogenyi Onazi all his outstanding fees and wages or face the wrath of the World governing body.
The Nigerian international hasn’t been paid the final two months of his initial contract with Lazio.Onazi who has earlier demanded his payment and the club failing to meet up, renders the case to Football governing body.
However FIFA did give Lazio till November 29 to pay up the wages but seems the Italian side were unable to understand what the governing body meant as they asked FIFA to send them a letter written in Italian
“Lazio have now been given till December 9 by FIFA to respond to my letter asking for my wages,” Onazi disclosed.
“This was because Lazio said they need to translate the letter forwarded to them in English to Italian.”.
