FC IfeanyiUbah,Wikki Tourist To Kick Start Super4 Tourney

Nigerian Professional Football League Super 4 tourney slated for December 7, 2016, with the Champions FC IfeanyiUbah, Wikki Tourist drawn to battle it out at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

The Super 4 tourney is an annual pre-season tournament which is organised by the League Management Company, for clubs who are representing Nigeria in next season CAF competitions.According to the League Management Company, the opening match will kick off at 5 pm, and the second fixture between NPFL champions Ranger international and the Leagues’ runner-up Rivers United.

Salihu Abubakar who is chief operating officer of the LMC said ““on Match Day 2, Rangers International will play Wikki Tourists in the first match starting at 5pm while Rivers United and FC IfeanyiUbah will take to the pitch for the second game of the day”.

He also explained that all matches would be played under floodlight as ther is no cause for alarm.
“We are continuing with the growing popularity of night games in Enugu and essentially, we are also considering a fans-friendly time when businesses would have closed to encourage huge turnout for the matches”.
