English Premier League side Everton FC is expected to complete a £10m deal for Charlton’s 19-year-old forward Ademola Lookman in the January transfer window.
Steve Walsh, who is Everton’s director of football and the key contributor embarking Everton’s policy of recruiting young talents issued out a major priority to sign the talented forward, the move is likely to sail through as Ronald Koeman will be busy looking out for players in January.
Ademola Olajide Lookman was born October 20, 1997, received his first call up early this year on May 16, 2016, after being named in the Three-Lions U19 squad against Mexico and was also named in the U19 squad that feature for the European Championship this summer.
The 19-year-old forward joined Charlton Athletic’s youth team in 2014 after signing from Waterloo FC 2008-2014,his first goal for Charlton was in a 3-2 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion on 5 December 2015 and then followed up with two goals against Bolton on December 15 2015,though Lookman began 2016/17 season from the bench but still managed to get seven goals so far.
Reports also claim Everton are lining up the id for unfavored Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin in a deal that will cost around £20m.
