Super Eagles head coach seem to have given up on trying to lure LIlle’s shot-stopper Vincent Enyeama back to play for Nigeria as Enyeama snubbed the German tactician.
Gernot Rohr has ruled out further contact with the former goalkeeper revealing that Enyeama appears to have given up on a return to man the post for Super Eagles as the 33-Year is sticking to his international retirement.
Rohr who has tried his best possible to bring back Enyeama when Super Eagle had a goalkeeper crisis ahead of the World cup qualifier against Algeria, but Enyeama never picks his calls nor return any of the calls.
“When we had crisis in our hands after Carl Ikeme’s injury, I called him (Enyeama) over 10 times and he never responded nor called back” – Rohr Told Reporters
“I am happy with how Daniel Akpeyi responded to the test when he was called up as emergency cover, but he needs to buckle up because we can’t solely depend on Ikeme
