Newly elected CAF Executive Committee member and President of the Nigeria football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has charged football referees in the country to sit up or face the fury of the federation.
Amaju, who communicated disappointment on calls made by a few officials in the Nigeria Professional Football League, said NFF won’t falter to keep on nailing error prone officials.
He said it is very grievous while the League managers are doing everything conceivable to put the League among the best in the continent, some referees who are the key characters in the game are not prepared to swim with the tide.
He continued, saying the Federation’s objective is to advance and see numerous Nigerian refs officiate matches at the most noteworthy phase of World competitions, likewise said that he will keep on supporting the great ones and recommended that the rotten ones among the officials will be thrown out.
