Arsenal Top Champions League Group After Five Years

Arsenal away wins in Switzerland earn them a top spot in Group A, as they crushed FC Basel 4-1, while French Champion PSG drew at home to Ludogrets in Tuesday UEFA Champions League.

Arsenal top Group A with 14points two points ahead of PSG, lose which earns the London side the top spots after five years coming up as second in the group stages of the competition.

While Bayern Munich also secured first place ahead of Spanish club Athletico Madrid, the club loses to the Bavarians courtsey Lewandowski superb freekick a few yards from outside the box.

Manchester City also progresses to the Knock-out stage of the competition after they manage a 1-1 draw with Celtic. The visitors opened the game with a wonderful goal just 4 minutes into the game, a goal produced by Patrick Roberts, a loanee from Manchester city who doesn’t have a clause preventing him from playing against his parent club.

Minutes later the goal was short-lived by Nigerian international youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho, levelling city to a 1-1 draw.
