Antonio Conte has rubbished reports claiming Chelsea failed to sign Ross Barkley from Everton in light of the fact that his telephone was turned off. On transfer Deadline Day, it was asserted Ross Barley had ventured out to London to complete a move to Chelsea.
The Everton player apparently underwent a medical before snubbing a move to Stamford Bridge since he couldn’t take a few to get back some composure of Conte.
Barkley himself denied the bits of gossip and, when addressed on the issue, the Italian manager stated: ‘As a matter of first importance, I want to disclose to you that I don’t prefer to talk about players of other teams because it is a lack of respect’.
He at that point put paid to the gossipy tidbits that his telephone had been off the day the transfer window shut. ‘But, what I read about this issue was ridiculous. I stop. It’s crazy. With this descriptor, I tell you my contemplations of this news’, he stressed his discontent over again naming the circumstance as ‘ridiculous’.
‘I think the club tried to do its best in the transfer market. Sometimes you are able to buy. Sometimes you are not able to buy, for many reasons. But I think the club tried to do its best during the transfer market’, Conte concluded.
