Nigerian striker, Adebayo Akifenwa who is generally viewed as one if not the strongest football player as of late, having nine goals in 2017 equalling Manchester United star striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The most recent arrangement of goals for Akinfenwa came in on Tuesday night when he scored twice as Wycombe Wanderers were held to a 2-2 draw at Accrington Stanley.
The effective Nigerian striker fired The Blues back on level terms in the 56th minutes before he finished with two solid goals.
While he has seven goals in the calendar year, Akinfenwa’s brace against Accrington Stanley took his count for the season to 16 goals in all competitions, of which ten were scored in the English fourth-level.
Akinfewa has netted four goals for Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL trophy and scored two goals in the Emirates FA Cup.
The 34-year-old has played for Gillingham, Northampton Town, and AFC Wimbledon in the most recent seven years.
