Cristiano Ronaldo received the marching order after scoring in Sunday’s clash as Real Madrid delivered a fantastic performance by beating Barcelona 3-1 at Camp Nou in the first leg of the Supercopa du Espana (Spanish Super Cup).

Lionel Messi drew Barca on level in the 63rd minute when he converted from the spot after Luis Suarez was brought down in Madrid’s box.
Just 3 minutes after Messi’s goal, Real Madrid struck! Cristiano Ronaldo who came in as a 58th-minute substitute volleyed in a stunning strike precisely on 69 minutes. But he was later sent off for 2 bookable offences. One for removing his shirt while celebrating his goal, while the other for being adjudged by the referee to have dived.
On 90 minutes, Marcos Asensio hammered a sensational strike from the edge of the box which flew beyond the reach Ter Stergen and sailed into the net to seal the win for Real Madrid. What a beauty of a goal from Asensio!!
