Manchester United forward feels he will still have the same abilities even if he’s carved out from a rock, as he posted a picture of himself on Instagram, with his statue being created in his honour.
The 2.7-metre figure statue was constructed outside Friends Arena(Stockholm) in Honour of the Swedish international, who has won the country’s Golden Ball Award in a row for ten years, just 11 times out of 12.

He said: ‘Many are thinking “Why him?” and so on, but after all the hard work over 15 years in the national team and 20 years in my club career, it feels like it’s being appreciated.’
‘You usually get this after you die, but I still feel alive. When I die, this statue will live on forever.’
