Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score 100 goals for the same club in the Champions League, an historic goal from the Portuguese star helped Madrid to a 3-1 triumph in their Champions League last-16 clash with PSG on Wednesday as ‘Los Blancos‘ ensured they go into the second leg in a solid position.
Ronaldo achieved the milestone with a first-half penalty at the Santiago Bernabeu to counterbalance Adrien Rabiot’s 33rd-minute opener.
He at that point took his count to 101 with an urgent second seven minutes from time, the five-time Ballon d’Or champ on hand to knee the ball home after Alphonse Areola parried Marco Asensio’s cross.

In doing as such, Ronaldo added another record to his ever-growing list of individual honors.
With the help of Opta data, we look at the stats behind the Los Blancos star sensational achievement.
116 – Including his Champions League goals for Manchester United, Ronaldo now has 116 in the competition.
95 – Ronaldo reached his century of Champions League goals in 95 appearances for Madrid.
71 – Of his 101 goals, 71 have come with his right foot. He has scored 17 with his left and just 13 with his head.
18 – Strike partners Karim Benzema (11) and Gareth Bale (7) have assisted Ronaldo on 18 occasions.
17 – The 33-year-old’s best haul in a single season came in 2013-14 when he found the back of the net 17 times – including a penalty in Madrid’s 4-1 win over Atletico in the final that secured La Decima.
10 – Although often thought of as deadly from set-pieces, only 10 of Ronaldo’s 101 goals have been direct from free-kicks.
9 – Bayern Munich are Ronaldo’s favorite opposition in the competition, he has scored nine times in six appearances for Madrid against the Bundesliga champions. Unsurprisingly Manuel Neuer has conceded all nine of those goals, making him Ronaldo’s favorite opponent – an honour he shares with Johan Wiland (Malmo and Copenhagen).
4 – Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Ajax, and Schalke have all seen Ronaldo score seven-time against them.
