Stanley Ohawuchi is on the verge of joining Saudi Arabian giants Al-Qadisiyah, as indicated by Saudi news reports.
The 27-year-old striker joined Zamalek from Egyptian outfit Wadi Degla on a season-long loan in August 2016.
The Nigerian international is the White Knights top scorer in the CAF Champions League this season, scoring three goals and registered 1assits. He is also the joint top scorer with Bassem Morsy in all competition with 8 goals.
As per the report by Saudi site Arriyadiyah, the Qadisiyah’s board has reached an agreement with Stanley but are delaying the official declaration because of the player’s continuous duties with Zamalek.
Qadisiyah finished 10th in the Saudi Pro League last season in the wake of gathering 28 points.
Zamalek will play Ittihad of Alexandria in the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday before confronting Al Ahli Tripoli in their last group stage game in the CAF Champions League on July 9.
The last league game against league champions Al Ahly will be played on July 17.
