Chelsea billionaire owner Roman Abramovich is ready to appoint Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri as Antonio Conte‘s replacement at Chelsea, as per reports in Italy.

Antonio Conte is expected to leave Stamford Bridge towards the end of the season and the Premier League champions are as of now taking a look at the possible option to replace Conte.

As indicated by La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Abramovich has placed Sarri as Conte’s successor and is closely observing the 59-year-old’s circumstance at Napoli. The report likewise asserts that the Chelsea owner is prepared to pay the €8 million (£7m) expense fee which would release Sarri from his contract deal with the Gli Azzurri.

“I need to focus on different issues at the moment, so someone will meet with the president over the next couple of days and listen to the proposal on my behalf

“There’s no issue between Aurelio and me, so it’s not an issue.”
