The Former Barcelona striker Sandro Ramirez will join the Toffees after Koeman’s side met the 21-year-old’s on a five-year deal with a buy-out clause of 5.25 million pounds.
The 21-year-old, one of Spain’s most promising young talents, joined Barcelona’s youth academy at the age of 14 before going on to make 17 senior appearances for the club, scoring two goals
Sandro Ramirez joined the Boquerones (Malaga) where he enjoyed a breakthrough season in La Liga, registering 14 goals and making three assists from 30 appearances last season.
Everton beat off competition from Juventus to secure the services of the Spaniard, who is currently away with Spain’s under-21 squad in Poland.
Atletico Madrid had also shown interest in signing the forward, Sandro will become Toffees fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Henry Onyekuru.as another signing at Goodison Park.
‘I bring a lot of youthful enthusiasm. My key strength is goalscoring’, the Spaniard said, also declaring he has joined the ‘ideal club and ideal manager’.
‘I’m very happy, this is a big step in my career,” Sandro told Everton TV. “I know I’m signing for a massive club in England. Everton is the ideal place for me, I’ve got the ideal manager who is going to keep giving me the confidence to improve my game’.
