AC Milan has completed the signing of FC Porto striker Andre Silva for a reported transfer fee of €38 million on a five-year deal
The Serie A side were quick to sign another striker and turned their sights to the Portuguese in the wake of failing to match Torino’s €100m valuation for ever wanted Andrea Belotti.
The forward arrived in Milan on Sunday evening and underwent a medical the following morning before completing the transfer – which is worth an initial £33million but could potentially rise to £38million, and turns into Rossoneri’s fourth player to arrive ahead of next season after Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez.
The 21-year-old joined the Porto youth academy in 2011 and made his first-team debut in December 2015.
Silva, who has scored seven goals in eight cap, had since been a key player at the Estadio do Dragao and scored 21 goals in 43 appearances in all competition in 2016-17.

‘I’m very happy to have joined such a prestigious club with such a great history,’ Silva told the club’s Twitter.
‘I can guarantee I will give everything I can to help this club realise their ambitions.’
