Members of the Nigeria Supporters Club have been axe out by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) from this weekend AFCON 2019 Qualifiers between Super Eagles and S/Africa.
The NFF has equally asked the two warring pioneers, Vincent Okumagba and Rev. Samuel Ikpea to step down with quick impact to clear path for fresh elections, just has the NFF president approached the President of the Supporters group, Dr Rafiu Ladipo to step down decently.
NFF President, Amaju Pinnick said in Lagos that there appeared to be beyond reconciliation differences between the two factions, including that such undesirable circumstance could prompt awful outcome for the Super Eagles in Uyo.
Speaking to The Guardian, Pinnick said: “I have made it clear that the Supporters Club should not come to Uyo for this match on Saturday. I have also told Ladipo to resign and conduct a fresh election. The two warring leaders, Ikpea and Okumagba should also resign because we can’t continue to work with factional leaders,
