Arsenal and Spain left-back Nacho Monreal have been voted the PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month of October by football fans across England.
The Spaniard asserted the prize after a string of consistent performances, winning 37 percent of the vote in the wake of scoring against Brighton and Hove Albion and Everton, beating Kevin de Bruyne into second place and Alexis into third.
Monreal, who has been left out of the Spanish squad for their upcoming friendlies against Costa Rica and Russia was also named Arsenal’s Player of the Month Award.

October was a really decent month for Arsenal; The North London side only lost once and they secured progression to the Europa League knockout stages. Nacho Monreal was a major part of the defense that got them to that level in October, and accordingly, he won the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.
This is an extremely esteemed award. It accompanies the use of the parking space nearest to the door for a month, the chance to wear pants each day and not just on Friday, and first split at the doughnuts that get brought Monday mornings.
And his name will go on a plaque that hangs proudly on the wall, forever memorialized as the best player October 2017 Premier League season ever saw
