Mesut Ozil Haunt Stoke Police Officer With Cheeky Twitter Jibe

Arsenal prolific playmaker Mesut Ozil had the last laugh on Stoke police as the German international sent a cheeky tweet following his side’s 3-0 triumph over relegated battler Potters on Sunday.
Ozil was the target of a Twitter jibe from the city’s police constabulary when Stoke beat Arsenal 1-0 prior this season.
The North London side had a progression of disputable decisions going against them, so a Gunners fan tweeted Stoke police saying “Might want to report a robbery“.
To which the Stoke police Twitter account reacted:
Apologies for the delay in replying. We’ve been busy looking for a missing person, surname Ozil. Have you seen him?
Meanwhile, Ozil didn’t react to the well-intentioned criticism.
In any case, subsequent to winning the penalty that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang converted to put Arsenal ahead in their 3-0 win over the Potters on Sunday, the German midfielder took his time to throw his shade.
.@Policingstoke didn‘t help in the case of robbery last summer so we took matters into our own hands. 🕵🏼♂ Proud to announce we earned three hard fought points today for @TheIwobiEffect and all the other gunners 😉 #Banter pic.twitter.com/wVrFgPKeJh

Ozil wasn’t available to give any of his popular trademark assists yet the German playmaker looked a totally changed player to the one that was the insignificant player in the first leg loss at the Bet365 Stadium in August.
This win does little to affect Arsenal’s Premier League season, but as they remain far untied of the top four – five points behind Chelsea and 13 behind London arch-rivals Tottenham.
Any expectation of a Champions League return next season hangs tight on their Europa League performance as they get ready for their quarter-final first-leg at CSKA Moscow on Thursday.
