FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi has been talking about his future with the Russian press ahead of La Albiceleste‘s friendly game in Moscow on Saturday.
The Argentine told ‘TyC Sports‘ that he would love to play in his country before he retires, saying “I would love to play for Newell’s but actually I have no clue what might happens.”
Messi who is yet to renew his contract at the Camp Nou admitted his wish to represent Newells, situated in his local town Rosario before he hangs up his boots. “It remains a dream of mine,” he clarified.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old likewise told the press that his eldest child Thiago is already getting to be noticeably mindful that his father is a star. “He is already starting to understand what I do and that I’m quite well known,”
