Real Madrid must be sick and tired of seeing Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, who has now scored more La Liga goals against Los Blancos than any other player in the Spanish top flight.
The Argentine forward struck from the penalty spot in the second half of El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, indenting his seventeenth goal against Los Blancos in LaLiga.
Lionel Messi has now scored more times against Los Blancos than any other player in the historical backdrop of Spain’s top flight.
This most recent individual milestone is halfway a result of Messi’s longevity – he made his Barcelona debut in October 2004 and keeps on exceeding expectations at the highest level for the Catalan giants. And his goal from 12 yards out in the Spanish capital was also his 25th in all competition against Madrid in 37 El Clasico games, with Real Madrid legend second with 18, while Cristiano Ronaldo has 17.

He also became the all-time top scorer in Europe’s top five leagues for a single club, Messi’s goal was his 526th in all competitions for Barcelona, giving him the very enviable honor.
Bayern Munich legend Muller scored 525 times for the Bundesliga club in 572 appearances between 1965 and 1979 while Messi’s total has been achieved in 608 appearances for the Barca.
