Ghanaian footballer, Solomon Nyantakyi has admitted to killing his mom and sister under exceptionally unusual conditions. Nyantakyi is reported to have grimly slaughtered both relations in the city of Parma in Italy.
The occurrence which happened on Tuesday night has left a few Ghanaians in the city crushed and in a stun. The young footballer was arrested by the Italian police on an escape route in Milan on Wednesday morning in the wake of tracking him following the murder of his mom, Patience Nfum, 45 and his kid sister, Magdalene Nyantakyi, 11, who were all Solomon – I killed my mom and sister – Ghanaians dwelling in Italy, on the 6th floor at San Leonardo.
Patience Nfum, initially from Ghana, was 43 years of age. She arrived Italy years ago, where her eleven-year-old little girl was born.
Raymond Nyantakyi, elder brother of the suspect reportedly found the dead bodies on his arrival from work Tuesday evening.
Nyantakyi the father of the family was traumatized after reaching the police headquarters after he had received gruesome news of the murder. The spouse of the murdered lady and little girl had moved to London because of work for about a month and a half, having been an employee for 15 years in a company of gastronomic products at Parma. He decided to try his luck in the British capital and had it not been the sad incident, his desire was to transfer the whole family to England.
It is still unclear, the reason for the murder but reports suggest he went into hard drugs and joined the company of drug dealers.
Solomon was touted as one of the rising stars in Italian football as he flourished in the youth system of Parma, winning several titles with them.
He was promoted to the Parma senior team by Roberto Donadoni before the club went on administration and the young player’s career took a nose dive.
The 21-year-old played for Serie D for Imolese Calcio last season. He is reported to have put his career on hold and joined a gang noted for committing serious crimes in Italy.
