First Batch of Super Eagles Arrive Corsica Camp



The first batch of Super Eagles players and officials have arrived Corsica for the international friendlies between Gernot Rohr led Eagles and the French side.

The local based left Nigeria on Monday night and was joined up by some European-based players in Paris for the trip to Corsica. Super Eagles officials from Nigeria alongside the locally established quartet of Alhassan Ibrahim, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatunbosun were joined by Tyrone Ebuehi and William Troost-Ekong.

The Portugal-based trio of Dele Alampasu, Chidozie Awaziem and Oghenekaro Etebo, likewise meet up with the team and as of Tuesday night, Elderson Echiejile, Uche Agbo and new kid Henry Onyekuru were additionally in the Eagles camp.

Super Eagles will stay at Best Western Hotel, Ajaccio Amiraute and would have their first training session on Wednesday. The Super Eagles will go up against the Corsica Senior National Team at the Stade Francois Coty in Ajaccio starting from 8 pm on Friday, May 26, and afterwards, go to Paris for the friendly clash with the Hawks of Togo.


The match against the Hawks has been booked for the Stade Municipal de Saint Leu La Foret, Paris on Thursday, June 01, 2017
