Chelsea are so confident that the injury sustained by Spanish forward Alvaro Morata in the Manchester City game isn’t too terrible and that the striker will be back in action in two weeks.
Morata limped off in the first half of Chelsea’s 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge, with Antonio Conte revealing it was because of a ‘Muscular Problem’.
The 24-year-old will miss out on international obligation, but the West London side are optimistic he will return against Crystal Palace in the Premier League in two weeks.
‘I don’t think it’s a significant issue since he halted before it will end up being a serious problem’, Conte said after the Manchester City clash.
Amid the international break, Chelsea will run tests on the Spaniard to ensure he is fit to play at the Hawthorns.
