Premier League champions Chelsea and AS Roma has concurred terms on a transfer deal that will see Edin Dzeko move to Stamford Bridge on his return to the Premier League, according to SkySport.
Chelsea have had a £44m bid, in addition, to add-ons (£13.2m) for Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri acknowledged and want to convey the two players to Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes on January 31.
While negotiations with Palmieri will be straightforward, Dzeko will still require persuading to come back to the Premier League and is looking for confirmations over the measure of game time he will enjoy.
Signing 31-year-old conflicts with Chelsea’s current transfer policy – they only offer a one-year contract extension to players on the books who are more than 30 – but they will twist their own standards to secure the Bosnian, and are required to offer him a deal through to no less than 2020.

Antonio Conte is an admirer of Dzeko, who scored twice against Chelsea this season as Roma drew 3-3 at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League, and is edgy to add to his strikeforce for the remainder of the season.
Dzeko, who played for Manchester City in 2011 – 2016 preceding joining the Serie A side, won the Serie A Golden Boot last season and has already found the back of net nine times this season.
Palmieri is a Brazilian left-back who joined Roma in 2015, at first on loan. The Italian champions, Juventus, had likewise been interested in securing the service of the 23-year-old. Palmieri is an alternative back-up for Marcos Alonso.
