According to reports coming in from England claim, Arsenal FC has set their asking price for star striker Alexis Sanchez, demanding at least £30million from Manchester City and other possible suitors for the Chilean.
The Gunners have now come to the realization that the Chilean will leave the club, and they are now reportedly eager to accept any bid for him in January, in order not to lose him for no penny in the summer.
After Pep Guardiola side failed with a deadline day approach for the Chilean, but with Sanchez now into the last eight months of his contract agreement with the Gunners, City are expected to seal a cut-value deal in January.
The player has become Gunners most loved at the club, scoring 54 goals and laying on 24 assists in 109 Premier League appearances, but subsequent to rejecting a new £300,000 per week deal, his days in North London are believed to be numbered,
Sanchez has won two FA Cups in his three years with Arsenal but is quick to go after greater success, i.e, the Premier League and Champions League titles, something the Chilean feels he can do with Manchester City.
We want to attract top players, keep top players,” he said. “Those guys (Sanchez and Ozil) are top players.
“I watched them on Sunday (in the 5-2 win at Everton) and they looked really good in black with the red trim. They looked really good and they played really well and we’d love to keep them.
“It takes two to dance. We’ll keep working to keep our top talent and to attract more talent but some of the guys we’ve got are looking pretty good.
“I feel good about Arsenal’s ability to compete, and compete at a very high level. But I also feel we can get better, I really do. I think we’ll get better at it.”
