Chelsea boss Antonio Conte revealed that his only regret so far over the electrifying partnership between Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard is that it took so long for him to be able to pair them together
The Belgian forward has rediscovered his best form as of late having missed the start of the season following an ankle surgery in the mid-year.
Hazard netted twice in the 4-0 win over West Brom which pushed Tony Pulis closer to the sack and had a hand in Morata’s opener, the Spaniard’s ninth goal of an increasingly impressive debut season in English football.
Speaking after the match, the Italian boss said: ‘We performed very well, ‘Morata and Hazard have a great link, they are now 100% fit. ‘It is easy to forget that we started the season without Hazard.’ On Hazard’s sparkling form, he added:
‘Today Eden played very well. I think he showed a great patience, despite some situations very strong.
‘I played and I understand when you are against these types of players it is difficult to stop them, you try to find a different way to stop them. ‘He has to continue in this way now that he is 100% He is enjoying to play with us.
